The Mount Airy Volunteer Fire Company is committed to continuing to serve our community and its members during the COVID-19 Event (also being call the Coronavirus Outbreak). This event is rapidly changing, and the town of Mount Airy and its surrounding communities are a small but important part of this event. The MAVFC is following Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines to keep our members and our community members safe while continuing normal operations. As a public health crisis, the Health Department is our lead agency on guidance and response. The MAVFC is continually engaging in communications with these and other public health and response partners to ensure we are doing what is necessary to continue to provide necessary services to those in need of emergency services.

As part of this commitment we believe in assisting the public with obtaining current and accurate information via our media platforms. Below is a list of links and contacts we recommend our community members use in order to access information. This list is not all-inclusive but does provide reputable sources through our public response partners.
