It's time for the Mount Airy Volunteer Fire Company Carnival, from July 21st to July 26th at the MAVFC Carnival Grounds, 1008 Twin Arch Road, Mt. Airy, Md.
One of the highlights of the week will be the 5th annual MAVFC Karaoke Contest on Wednesday evening.
On Thursday evening, we once again will host our Gala Parade that attracts Fire/Rescue apparatus, bands, marching groups and other entries from the Mid-Maryland area. As usual, the parade will travel down Main Street to Park Avenue and end at the Carnival grounds.
Finally, a Giant Fireworks display will light the skies over Mount Airy on Saturday night around 10:30!

Beginning June 9th, we have a limited number of advance ride tickets available for $10.00, cash only. Tickets can be purchased at Blossom and Basket Boutique, Mt. Airy Train Depot (Main Street), Mount Airy Locker Company and the Sprint/Nextel (Connected Solutions) Store behind Burger King. Ticket sales end Sunday July 20.
