On Monday November 9 at 1428 hours (2:28 pm) local alarm 1-15 was dispatched for a brush fire to the rear of the 1100 block of Parkridge Drive. First arriving Capt 1 arrived to find less than 1/4 acre of woods with possible extension to a house trailer and requested the box alarm assignment be filled. The corrected location of the call was the 13800 block of Old National Pike. B15 arrived and stretched a booster line to make a quick knock of the woods fire and the fire that was impinging on the house trailer. E12 arrived and began to overhaul the outside of the trailer and check for any extension inside. After it was determined that there was no extension, command held the Station 1 units for mop up. All units were clear at 1536 hours (3:36 pm).
