The Mount Airy Volunteer Fire Company in Carroll County, Maryland has taken delivery of a new utility vehicle to be known as Utility 1. Utility 1 is a 2011 Ford F350 four door cab on a 4x4 chassis. A Knapheide 700 Series utility body was installed and outfitted to suit the company's needs. The vehicle is also equipped with a Boss 7.6 snow plow.

A custom aluminum center console was installed between the front cab seats. The console was designed to support a switch panel, electronic siren, traffic arrow control, mobile radio, portable radio charger, and cup holders. The rear portion of the console offers ample divided space for map books and binders. Mounted on the rear of the console are (2) Survivor handlights in chargers.

Mounted on the front of the body directly behind the cab is a STK Pro Rack. The lightbar and traffic arrow are mounted at the top of the rack. The bed of the utility body and all compartments were sprayed with gray Line-X to enhance durability. A pair of SCBA brackets were installed in the left front compartment along with a Kussmaul Auto-Charge 12HO wired to a Kussmaul Super Auto-Eject outlet. An EMS bag, traffic cones, fire extinguisher, and a light complement of forcible entry tools were also placed in the body. Reflective chevron striping was applied to the rear of the body.
