Department Places Two Support Units In Service

The Mount Airy Volunteer Fire Department has placed in service two new support units, Brush 15 and Life Support 1.

Life Support 1, a 2005 Ford Excursion, is completely equipped to provide basic and advanced life support when needed.

Brush 15, a 2005 Ford, is equipped to handle emergencies in off road conditions.

Both of these pieces were purchased completely with donations from the community and funds received through various fundraisers.
