| Recently, the MAVFC placed in service a new command/duty vehicle. The vehicle, known as Car 1, is a four wheel drive 2013 Chevrolet Suburban 3/4 ton LS Model. The vehicle was outfitted by DPC Emergency Equipment and has been equipped with extensive emergency lighting, a rear command console, laptop computer with internet connectivity and radios for everyday use and signifcant incident communications.
This unit replaces an older model Chevrolet Tahoe and will primarily function as a command unit and/or command support unit on incidents.
