On 4/4/2023 at approximately 1700 hours, Tanker 1 was dispatched to Baltimore County for a wildland fire in the Soldiers Delight Natural Environmental Park. Tanker 1 assisted with water supply operations for the eight alarm event. MAVFC was part of a multi-county and multi-state response to contain the fire. While Tanker 1 was committed to this incident additional crews were staffed in the station for calls within our area. Tanker 1 operated for approximately 6 hours before returning to service.
