The Great Mount Airy Duck Race

Now is the time to purchase your ducks for the annual Great Mount Airy Duck Race which is scheduled for Sunday September 13 at the Mount Airy Volunteer Fire Company Carnival Grounds opening at 1200 hours (12:00 noon). The races are sponsored by the Mount Airy Rotary Club and the Mount Airy Volunteer Fire Company as a fundraiser for both organizations. There will be races, food to purchase, and much more. This is a very entertaining event so if you have never attended the duck race you are in for treat!

Come out and support your local First Responders and the Rotary Club as both organizations work to make our community a better place.
