On 2/5/2023 at approximately 1925 hours (7:30 pm), units from MAVFC were dispatched to the 13100 block of Penn Shop Road in Frederick County for a house fire. Units from Frederick County, DFRS Green Valley station, arrived on the scene to find a 1 story single family dwelling with fire showing. Engine 12 arrived and established the Rapid Intervention Group in case of a downed firefighter. Tanker 1 assisted with water supply operations. Units operated for approximately 90 minutes before returning to service. Damage to the house was significant. Origin and cause determination is on-going by Frederick DFRS Fire investigations unit.
