At approximately 11:50 hours units from Frederick County were dispatched for an outside fire in the area of Old National Pike and Woodville Road. After investigating, they found a large woods fire in the area of the 5500 block of Woodville Road. They then requested additional brush units to the scene. A few minutes later it was realized that the fire was larger than it first appeared, so command requested a brush task force bringing additional units, including units from MAVFC and Howard County to the scene. The fire was extinguished, and units cleared in approximately 2 hours.
