On Saturday March 8, 2025, Rescue 1, Medic 18 and Ambulance 19 were dispatched for a vehicle collision with rollover on Interstate 70 westbound at the off ramp to Route 27. Units arrived to find a single vehicle off the roadway in a ditch. Rescue 1 established the command and requested aviation. The patient was transferred into Medic 18 and transported to the landing zone at the MAVFC Carnival Grounds. Medic 18 then transferred the patient to MSP Trooper 3 which transported to a trauma center. Utility 1 and Brush 15 handled the landing zone. Units operated for approximately 45 minutes before returning to service. The scene was handed off to Maryland State Police.
