The Mount Airy Volunteer Fire Company (MAVFC) still relies heavenly on fundraising events for income. We are provided money from the Carroll County Volunteer Emergency Services Association which is primarily for EMS supplies, EMS staffing, building and apparatus maintenance. In order for us to provide the best services available we have to conduct regular fundraising events to provide funds for purchasing new apparatus and keeping our facilities up to date. The members of the Mt. Airy Volunteer Fire Company conduct fundraising events every month throughout the year and offer a wide array of events. Below is a list of events we already have scheduled for 2025.

Annual Carnival:

This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, this years event will be July 21 - 26. The Nighly indoor buffet is back! Each night will feature different menu entrees and sides. In addition, there will pizza, fresh squeezed lemonade, french fries, funnel cakes, fried oreos, Hoffman's Ice Cream, pit sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, and so much more! Rides will once again be provided by Rosedale Attractions, and live music will be on stage each night. This event is a success because of the support received from businesses and organizations in the community and residents that come out each night.
