Interested in giving back to your community?

The Mount Airy Volunteer Fire Company is always looking for dedicated men and women to join our department. We are looking for those individuals who are interested in firefighting, emergency medical services, or both. We offer all training and equipment through the department at no cost to you. If you do not have any previous training there are always many classes available at various times and in various locations throughout the state to accomodate your schedule. As our department and community grows we continue to add additional apparatus, in 2020 we will be taking delivery of our first aerial ladder truck. We provide fire, Rescue, and emergency medical services to the town of Mount Airy, and the surrounding community which includes Carroll, Frederick, Howard, and Montgomery counties.
