On April 16 at 0130 hours (1:30 am), units from MAVFC along with surrounding area companies were dispatched on Box 14-14 for a house fire in the 6300 block of Woodbine Road. Units from Winfield VFD arrived first to find a large pool house/garage heavenly involved in fire. Engine 141 laid supply line and began fire attack. Engine 12 and Truck 1 both assisted with extinguishment and overhaul, Tanker 1 assisted with water supply. Medic 19 responded on the rapid intervention dispatch to assist with rehab. No civilian or firefighter injuries were reported. Units remained on scene for several hours before returning to service. Maryland State Fire Marshal's investigators responded to the scene to determine the origin and cause of the fire. The structure was heavily damaged by the fire.
