The Mount Airy Volunteer Fire Company (MAVFC) is preparing to celebrate 100 years of fire, rescue, and emergency medical services to Mount Airy and surrounding communities. After several devastating fires in the early 1900's, the fire company was first created in 1921, but due to lack of commitment and organization, the company did not get incorporated to begin providing service until April 29, 1926. Since then, we have had much progress and many changes too numerous to mention.

Our upcoming 100 Year Celebration is being planned, and we are hoping that you will help us by providing special memories. They can be MAVFC events, parades, carnivals, fundraisers, incidents or anything that you can think of that you would like us to remember.
