At approximately 0200 hours (2 AM) on 04/27/2025, Rescue 1, Medic 18 and Ambulance 19 were dispatched for a vehicle collision with entrapment on I-70 eastbound at Bill Moxley Road. Units from Frederick County/New Market arrived to find a single vehicle into the woods with the driver trapped. Rescue 1 assisted with the extrication and packaging of the patient. Medic 18 began treatment of the patient and transported by ground to an area hospital. Units operated for approximately 1 hour before returning to service.
